The first step is to complete our Design Your Trip form. Once we receive your inquiry, we'll reach out by email to learn more about your travel plans, interests, budget, and the kind of experience you're hoping to have in Alaska.

From there, we'll create your first personalized itinerary proposal. You'll have the opportunity to review it, ask questions, and request any changes until it feels just right. Once you're happy with the itinerary, we'll move forward with booking your hotels, rental car, and activities.

Before you arrive, you'll receive a detailed day-by-day itinerary, a custom Google Map, our Alaska Travel Guide, and our restaurant recommendations to help you make the most of your time in Alaska.

We'll also schedule a phone call to answer any remaining questions before your trip begins. Once you're here, we'll check in throughout your travels and are always just a phone call away if you need us.

Most of our itineraries begin and end in Anchorage or Fairbanks, making it easy to explore many of Alaska's destinations by car. We regularly plan trips that include places like Seward, Homer, Talkeetna, Denali, Valdez, and the Glenn Highway, along with many other communities throughout Southcentral and Interior Alaska.

If you're interested in visiting more remote destinations, we can often incorporate them into your itinerary as well. Places like McCarthy/Kennecott, Wrangell–St. Elias National Park, Katmai National Park, and Lake Clark National Park may require special transportation or flights, and we're happy to help you determine the best way to include them.

At this time, we don't plan trips to Southeast Alaska, including Juneau, Sitka, Haines, and Skagway.

We also specialize exclusively in land-based self-drive travel and do not arrange Alaska cruise vacations.

We do not book flights to Alaska, but we’re happy to provide guidance as you make your travel arrangements. We can share recommendations on airlines, routes, and timing to help you choose the best option for your itinerary.

Once your flights are booked, we’ll take care of the details on the ground—from accommodations and rental cars to activities and local recommendations—so everything is ready when you arrive in Alaska.

At this time, we don't plan camping or RV itineraries. We specialize in personalized self-drive trips that include carefully selected hotels, lodges, and cabins that we know and trust.

Every accommodation, tour, and activity we recommend has been chosen because we believe it offers a consistently excellent experience. Since we can't personally verify every campground or RV park in the same way, we choose to focus on the types of accommodations we can confidently recommend to our travelers.

We don't book Airbnb accommodations. Instead, we book hotels, lodges, and cabins that we've personally experienced or know well and can confidently recommend to our travelers.

Many of the cabins and lodges we include in our itineraries offer a similar feel to a vacation rental, with private buildings, kitchens, bathrooms, and a little more space to relax. The difference is that we know the properties, the owners, and the level of service you can expect.

Because vacation rental properties can vary widely and change over time, we’re not able to evaluate them with the same level of confidence as the accommodations we regularly work with. Our goal is to recommend places we know and trust, so you can feel confident in every part of your trip.
