Below, you will find a listing of some of the activities we can organize for your trip to Alaska. You are by no means limited to the activities we have listed here. If there is something specific you dream of doing on your trip to Alaska, contact us, and we will do our best to arrange it!

Brown Bear Viewing

An Alaska brown bear expedition is an activity that will create memories for a lifetime. Guided trips take place in one of two remote national parks (Katmai or Lake Clark), depending on the month and the tour. Guests travel by float planes, which offer a rewarding bird’s eye view over the terrain below. The adventure includes an experienced pilot and naturalist guide who safely navigates visitors through Bear Country.

Duration: Between 7 and 9 hours

Cost: Starting from $1100 per person, dependent on location, length, and company

Note:

  • Up to a 50% deposit is required when booking. The cancellation policy is very strict.

  • There are weight restrictions for passengers.

  • If the expedition is canceled due to bad weather, guests will receive a full refund.

Helicopter Flightseeing with Glacier Dog Sledding

Experience Alaska with a short and spectacular helicopter flight to the dog sledding base on the glacier, from where guests set off on a dog sled ride. Visitors can meet the dogs (including puppies!), talk with the mushers, and even ride on a dog sled of their own. This is a great activity and one of the most popular choices for our guests in 2022.

Cost: Starting from $620 per person

  • The weight of the client is required for booking.

  • If the expedition is canceled due to bad weather, guests will receive a full refund.

  • There is a possibility to extend the trip with an additional glacier landing.

Denali Flightseeing with Glacier Landing

Sightseeing flights depart from the town of Talkeetna and offer passengers an unforgettable experience. Visitors have the opportunity to see the most spectacular mountain in North America up close and experience landing on one of the glaciers hidden among the peaks. Each passenger has a window seat, and experienced pilots that make the flight more enjoyable with their exciting stories.

Duration: Around 1.5 to 3.5 hours

Cost: Starting from $330 per person, dependent upon the length of the flight and selected route

Note:

  • The weight of the client is required for booking.

  • If the expedition is canceled due to bad weather, guests will receive a full refund.

  • Sightseeing flights can also take place from other locations in Alaska.

Wildlife Cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park

This is one of the main attractions in Alaska that we try to include in every itinerary. Boats depart from Seward, and tours typically run about 6 hours. Up to 100 people can comfortably fit on the larger decks, and lunch and snacks are served during the trip. During the cruise, participants have the opportunity to see numerous animals (including humpback whales, killer whales, puffins, and sea lions) and spectacular glaciers.

Duration: Around 6 hours

Cost: Starting from $220 per person

Note:

  • It is possible to organize a private cruise on a smaller boat (the price will be higher).

  • It is possible to extend or shorten the length of the trip.

Bus Tour in Denali National Park

This is another attraction that we include in many of our itineraries. In order to protect the animals that live in Denali National Park, the only way to enter the park is by traveling on private motor coaches. The trip lasts 5 to 6 hours, and during the journey, the drivers stop at many viewpoints to observe animals. Denali National Park offers bus rides with a guide and narrator (more expensive) or without.

Cost: Starting from $40 (East Fork Transit Bus) to $180 (Tundra Wilderness Tour) per person

Note:

  • Morning tours can start as early as 5:30 AM. Participants can only learn their departure time the day prior to the tour.

  • Guided tours sell out quickly.

Guided Fishing Expedition

Alaska is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts in the summer. Fishing tours always include a local guide who takes guests to the best locations. The trips can be tailored specifically to the expectations and dreams of the guests.

Duration: Around 4 to 6 hours

Cost: Starting from $250 per person

Note:

  • The exact departure time and meeting location will be shared the day prior to the trip.

  • Guests must purchase a fishing license for the date of their trip.

  • It’s possible to fish for salmon in different parts of the state.

  • It is also possible to fish for halibut.

Guided Kayaking

Working with the best kayaking companies in Alaska allows us to offer many different types of trips for all skill levels and abilities. For our guests, we organize kayaking trips on local lakes, several hours of kayaking among icebergs, and longer and more challenging kayaking trips on the ocean, which always take place with a local guide.

Duration: Between 2 to 8 hours

Cost: Starting from $350 per person

Alaska Railroad and Glacier Rafting

This trip allows you to combine two great attractions in one day. The Glacier Discovery Train with the Alaska Railroad takes place on Alaska’s most scenic rail route. Guests disembark at a backcountry stop for a rafting float trip through the icebergs.

Duration: Around 7 to 8 hours

Cost: Starting from $350 per person

Note:

  • It is possible to take a trip that only includes travel on the Alaska Railroad.

  • On some routes, it is possible to purchase a 1st class ticket.

  • The tour takes place in all types of weather conditions.

  • Strict cancellation policies apply (we recommend purchasing travel insurance).

Glacier Trekking on the Matanuska Glacier

Glacier trekking is another activity that many of our guests choose. The length of the trip is variable due to the selected program. The trek takes place with experienced local guides who manage the safety of the guests while sharing exciting and important information about Alaska’s glaciers.

Duration: Between 3 to 8 hours

Cost: Starting from $140 per person

Note:

  • It is possible to join a tour that includes ice climbing.

  • It is possible to book a private trek for larger groups.

  • It is possible to take a helicopter flight to a remote part of the glacier.
